For Women in Prostitution
For those women involved in prostitution and girls who are sexually exploited, our aim is to empower them to make positive alternative choices. Support may be focused on alleviating a number of different barriers preventing women from exiting prostitution, including assistance with gaining employment, accessing training or educational opportunities, accessing housing, welfare and benefits advice, addressing issues of low self-esteem and low self-confidence, addressing destructive cycles of behaviour including addictions and abusive relationships. Referrals may also be made for women and girls who need specialist help with substance misuse or mental health issues. In addition to the support offered, our aim is also to build trusting relationships with all clients.
We understand that many women may not be in a place where they are considering leaving prostitution, or they may not be ready to consider this option. Our aim is to reach women where they are at in their lives and support them in a way that is appropriate to them at that particular time.
